Our Recovery Coaching Approach

At Community Support Squad, our NDIS Psychosocial Recovery Coaching approach is person-centred, strengths-based and trauma-informed. We support participants across Boronia and Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs to build capacity, improve wellbeing and work towards meaningful recovery goals.

Person-Centred & Strengths-Based

Your recovery journey is led by you. We take time to understand your story, your goals and what matters most in your life.

Rather than focusing on limitations, we focus on your strengths and build from there.

Creating a plan that feels empowering, realistic and aligned with your vision.

Trauma-Informed Practice

We understand that many participants have experienced system fatigue, stigma, crisis or trauma.

Our Recovery Coaches provide consistent, respectful support that prioritises emotional safety and trust.

We recognise that recovery is not linear and we meet you where you are without judgement.

Practical & Real-Life Focus

Recovery is about more than appointments. It’s about building sustainable routines, independence and confidence in everyday life.

Our coaching is grounded in real world skills that support long term wellbeing and meaningful community participation.
